Solar Security Light User Guide

Complete instructions for installation, operation, and troubleshooting

1. Safety Precautions

Warning:

Please follow all safety instructions to prevent personal injury and property damage.

Installation Safety

  • Secure Mounting Surface: Ensure the wall or post is strong enough to hold the light.
  • Installation Height: Recommended above 2m / 6.5ft.

Electrical Safety

  • Do Not Disassemble to avoid electric shock and voiding warranty.
  • Water Protection: Do not spray high-pressure water directly.

2. Installation Guide

Site Selection

  • Ensure the solar panel receives full sunlight all day.
  • Install at 2–3 meters height.

Steps

Install the mounting bracket.

Slide the light onto the bracket until it locks.

Adjust the sensor angle.

3. Troubleshooting

Problem Phenomenon Possible Causes Solutions
Light does not work at all 1. Battery is completely drained.
2. The unit is powered off.
1. Place the product in direct sunlight for 1–2 days to charge.
2. Long press the power button to turn on the unit.
Does not light up at night / Sensor fails 1. Incorrect mode setting.
2. Obstructions in the detection zone.
3. Photosensor is blocked.
1. Switch to Mode 1.
2. Clear obstacles and adjust the sensor angle.
3. Make sure photosensor is not covered.
Short lighting duration Insufficient battery charge. Conduct extended solar charging.
Light turns on during daytime Photosensor failure or obstruction. Check if sensor is blocked, or contact support.
Alarm sound is absent or weak Speaker issue or wrong setting. Check if Alarm Mode is selected, or contact support.

4. Operation and Maintenance

Regular Cleaning

  • Clean the solar panel and lamp cover gently with a soft, damp cloth every 1–2 months to remove dust and debris. This ensures optimal charging efficiency and sensor sensitivity.
  • DO NOT USE chemical cleaners or abrasive materials.

Battery Maintenance

The built-in lithium battery should be protected from extreme temperatures. Avoid prolonged use or storage in environments below –20°C or above 60°C to extend battery life.

Regular Inspection

  • Check the installation bracket, screws, and overall fixture quarterly for any signs of loosening, damage, or corrosion.
  • Tighten or repair as necessary.

Long-Term Storage

  • If not using the product for an extended period, turn it off (if applicable) and store it in a cool, dry place.
